Roblox lets you have up to 200 friends and 1,000 followers per account. Adding people is fast — here are the three ways to do it.
Add from a profile
- Search the user's name in the top search bar or click their avatar from a game.
- Open their profile.
- Click Add Friend. They'll receive a request to accept or ignore.
Add someone you just played with
Open the People menu inside the game and tap the user. You'll see Add Friend right there — no need to leave the game.
Add by username
If you know someone's exact username, type it into the Roblox search bar, open their profile, and add them. Be careful with similar-looking names — impersonation is common.
Manage friend requests
Open Friends from the home page. Pending requests appear at the top. You can accept, ignore, or block.
Remove or block a friend
On a friend's profile, click the three-dot menu. From there you can unfriend or block. Blocking hides their messages and prevents them from joining your games.
